MasterClass - Negotiation Skills

What was it about?

This 1 - day MasterClass offered a practice at negotiation using live case studies, whilst reviewing of the principles and dynamics that underpin all negotiation situations and how to prepare for them.
Participants learned
A: The principles of successful negotiation
B: How to negotiate under pressure
C: Learn how to diffuse attacks
D: Recognize and respond to different styles of negotiation


Participants worked with scenarios and case studies to sharpen their skills. 

After completing the class, participants got a certificate of attendance by Tharawat Family Business Forum and City University London.

The Teacher

Robin Sellers is a Senior Lecturer at The City Law School in City University London. In his career that spanned 20 years, Sellers prosecuted and defended at all levels including murder, fraud, fatal road traffic offences as leading and junior counsel.

 

Who attended?

The workshop was aimed at members of family businesses from across the MENA region who have an interest in reviewing the basics of negotiation skills and in sharpening their capacities.
